EXPERIENCE
Rhonda Griffin has been a REALTOR since 1990 serving the Victoria market in residential sales, listings, rentals, commercial properties, and farm and ranch. During the entire time, Rhonda has been with Cornerstone Properties. Rhonda developed the property management phase of the company, taking it from its fledgling state to more than quadruple its size.
EDUCATION
Rhonda Griffin was the 1977 Salutatorian Graduate of Cuero High School, Cuero, Texas, After high school, Rhonda continued her studies at Victoria College receiving an Associates of Arts Degree. From Victoria College, Rhonda attended the University of Houston/Victoria Campus, graduating summa cum laude with a Bachelor's of Business Degree and a concentration in Accouting. Rhonda taught computer applications and accounting practices for over six years at a local business college. She continues to stay abreast of real estate changes with continuing education classes and is in the process of receiving her Graduate of Real Estate Institution designation. Rhonda has recently been accredited to teach real estate courses for continuing education and new licensees.
PROFESSIONAL AFFILIATIONS
Rhonda was the first female member in Victoria's Downtown Kiwanis. She also was the first female President for the the 58 year old organization in 1997-1998. Rhonda had the honor of being chosen the first female Lieutenant Governor for Division 4 in 2002-2003. Rhonda has served the Victoria Board of REALTORS as Past-President (1998), President (1997), Vice-President (1995), and Secretary-Treasurer (1994 and 1996). Rhonda has been active in many committees and has been chairperson of the ByLaws Committee (1992), Budget and Finance (1994 and 1996), and Political Action Committee (1994). Rhonda actively participated in the Women's Council of REALTORS since 1990, serving as Secretary (1992), Vice-President (1993), and President (1994). In 1994, as chairperson of the Texas Real Estate Political Action Committee, Rhonda collected 408% of the quota for her area. This collection was the second highest in Texas and was the first year any committee exceeded 400%. Rhonda has been elected TREPAC Trustee for Region 11 1998-2001.
